Ioannis Kaffes graduated from the Law School of the University of Nicosia and continued his studies initially at the University of Western Attica (MSc in Public Economics and Policy) and then at University of Piraeus (MSc / LLM Law and Economics). He has professionally focused on technology law and, in this context, he legally supports a number of associations and companies. He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). In recent years, he has been active in advising start ups and has been particularly interested in the development and interaction of new technologies (eg: blockchain) in the field of legal science. He speaks English and Italian.
