Maria Zabertsi

Maria Zabertsi has been working since 2014 as a person in charge of education and training in one of the largest social care institutions for people with intellectual disabilities, ESTIA. Her 20 years of experience in the field of disability, includes the design and project management of programmes for people from vulnerable social groups, trainings in the creation of focus groups for advocacy and self advocacy. In addition, she is involved in scientific support and counseling of disability organizations and their empowerment in matters of networking, corporate social responsibility and supported employment for the disabled.

She has been a founding member of the NGO Crysallis-Close to Disability, which was active in the inclusion of people with disabilities through new technologies.

She holds a Bachelor degree in Social Work and a Master degree in Special Education from Kapodistriako University, as well as a BA (Hons) in Learning Disabilities and a MSc in Psychology and Disability from University of Manchester in UK.
