{"id":16927,"date":"2026-07-23T11:12:28","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T08:12:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.socialdynamo.gr\/?p=16927"},"modified":"2026-07-23T11:12:28","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T08:12:28","slug":"announcing-the-results-of-the-capacity-building-programme-for-organizations-active-in-promoting-gender-equality-2nd-call-of-cycle-b","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.socialdynamo.gr\/en\/announcing-the-results-of-the-capacity-building-programme-for-organizations-active-in-promoting-gender-equality-2nd-call-of-cycle-b\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcing the results of the Capacity-Building Programme for organizations active in promoting Gender Equality \u2013 2nd Call of Cycle B\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Bodossaki Foundation and Fondation CHANEL have joined forces once again to promote gender equality and women&#8217;s empowerment in Greece, and can now announce the ten organizations selected to participate in Cycle B\u2019 of their joint programme, following the submission of proposals for the 2nd open call.<\/p>\n<p>The selected organisations will participate in a specialized six-month capacity-building programme, which is implemented by Social Dynamo, the Bodossaki Foundation\u2019s NGO Hub, and will subsequently receive a financial grant of \u20ac10,000 each for the implementation of small-scale projects that will contribute to their operational development and improvement, as well as to the promotion of gender equality and women&#8217;s empowerment in Greece.<\/p>\n<p>The projects to be implemented cover a broad range of thematic areas which respond to contemporary challenges surrounding gender equality. They focus <em>inter alia<\/em> on preventing and responding to gender-based and domestic violence, empowering women and girls, promoting women&#8217;s participation in STEM fields, on providing sex education, and on bolstering the public discourse on gender equality.<\/p>\n<p>The organisations selected for funding are listed below:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Organisation<\/strong>: Os Aido<br \/>\n<strong>Project<\/strong>: Roots and Horizons: Strategic development for gender equality through comprehensive sex education<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organisation<\/strong>: Centre for the Study of Crime (CESC)<br \/>\n<strong>Project<\/strong>: Women with a voice: intersectional advocacy in the Eleonas-Thiva Correctional Facility<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organisation<\/strong>: Greek Women in STEM<br \/>\n<strong>Project<\/strong>: Capacity4Equality: Organizational development, digital tools and mentor training<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organisation<\/strong>: SHE \u2013 Society for Help and Empowerment<br \/>\n<strong>Project<\/strong>: Words Matter: Training in inclusive language for the public sector<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organisation<\/strong>: Hellenic Association of University Women (ELEGYP)<br \/>\n<strong>Project<\/strong>: Strengthening gender equality in Universities \u2013 GE-UNI<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organisation<\/strong>: DYNAME \u2013 Aspis Against Violence<br \/>\n<strong>Project<\/strong>: Healthy relationships &amp; empowering girls through education and prevention<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organisation<\/strong>: REVMA\u2013 Educational and Vocational Support Mechanism for Young People<br \/>\n<strong>Project<\/strong>: REVMA capacity-building programme<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organisation<\/strong>: Association of Ukrainian Women in Greece<br \/>\n<strong>Project<\/strong>: From vulnerability to autonomy: economic empowerment of migrant women as a way out from violence<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organisation<\/strong>: Institute for the Prevention and Treatment of Violence and the Promotion of Gender Equality \u2013 VIA STOP<br \/>\n<strong>Project<\/strong>: VIASTOP+: Capacity-building for preventing and responding to gender-based and domestic violence<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organisation<\/strong>: \u2018Erasmos\u2019 Social Intervention Association<br \/>\n<strong>Project<\/strong>: Digital Upgrade: Bolstering the communication, publicity and profile of Erasmos<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Detailed information on the selected projects is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bodossaki.gr\/en\/our-partnerships\/other-foundations\/capacity-building-programme-for-civil-society-organisations-active-in-promoting-gender-equality-and-women-s-empowerment-cycle-b\/projects-cycle-b\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 2nd Call concludes the selection of the organizations to be supported under Cycle B\u2019 of the Programme, strengthening more than twenty Civil Society Organizations active in promoting gender equality and women&#8217;s empowerment in Greece.<\/p>\n<p>Promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women in Greece is of primary importance for the Bodossaki Foundation, as it forms an integral part of its vision of a society of equal opportunities and prospects for all. The Foundation is a member and co-funder of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/alliance-genderequality.org\/\">Alliance for Gender Equality in Europe<\/a>, the first and only collaborative fund dedicated to advancing progress toward gender equality across the continent. The Alliance provides opportunities for funding, training, networking and synergy between key actors in the field of philanthropy. The Foundation has also supported Greece\u2019s General Secretariat of Family Policy and Gender Equality and implemented initiatives to promote gender equality in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Fondation CHANEL supports the freedom of women and girls to shape their own destiny. Over the last 14 years, it has developed a highly effective philanthropic approach which has directly impacted over 9 million women globally. The Foundation believes that those closest to the issues are best suited to developing the solutions. This guiding principle is reflected in the Foundation\u2019s long-term relationships with partners as well as its offer of support to strengthen their operational capacity and amplify their voices.
