Social Dynamo is an award-winning hub which offers training, professional support, and networking. We aim to support organizations to become sustainable, increase their effectiveness and maximize their social impact.
Just as a dynamo accumulates and transforms energy, so Social Dynamo seeks to build up and develop the skills of civil society organizations and active citizen groups, though transferring know-how and providing opportunities for collaboration and networking. In addition, a six-month Empowerment Program is provided to organizations wishing to receive support in the later stages of their non-profit organization and maximizing their social impact
Social Dynamo also designs and implements civil society capacity building programmes in collaboration with other institutions. The Municipality of Athens and the Municipality of Thessaloniki are strategic partners of the initiative.
