Maria Tsene

Maria Tsene has been working for the Bodossaki Foundation as program officer since 2010 with a thematic specialization in the provision of social welfare services and the promotion of human rights of vulnerable groups including the rights of people with disabilities, elderly and children. She has experience in grant-making, regranting and project management of programs related to social inclusion, fight of poverty and protection of human rights including the rights of unaccompanied refugee minors having managed more than 5M euros for projects. Recently she joined the mentors’ network under the capacity building program of the Bodossaki Foundation. Before joining the Bodossaki Foundation, Maria worked for the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Tourism as executive staff handling administrative and human resources issues. She had also worked as a teacher in public school and institute of vocational training. She holds two BA and a MA in human and social sciences from University of Athens.
