Georgios Vourlakis

Georgios Vourlakis has over 14 years of professional experience in the non-profit sector, specializing in fundraising and project management. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles in civil society organizations and foundations. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Marketing and Communication at the Athens University of Economics and Business, where his research focuses on the factors influencing charitable giving and donor behaviour. He has contributed to the development and implementation of numerous national and European projects across a range of thematic areas, including migration, integration, mental health, youth empowerment, democratic governance, child protection, and environmental issues. In this context, he has collaborated with international organizations, public authorities, civil society organizations, as well as academic and research institutions in Greece and across Europe.
