Stavroula Palaiologou
Head of Civil Society Empowerment Programmes, Bodossaki Foundation
Stavroula Palaiologou is a sociologist with a master’s degree in Social Policy Analysis from the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) and in Gender Studies from the Hellenic Open University. She is a PhD candidate at Panteion University, researching how organisational governance structures and funding mechanisms shape participation in civil society based on gender. Her contribution lies in promoting fair, inclusive, and responsible organizational practices.
She has over 20 years of experience in research, consulting, and supporting civil society organizations. Her experience focuses on program design and management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and institutional cooperation. She has collaborated with international and national organizations and with institutions such as the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the European Commission, and the EEA Grants. She is a volunteer in national and international NGOS.
As the head of Social Dynamo, she leads capacity-building initiatives that strengthen the organizational resilience, sustainability, and impact of civil society organizations.
Lito Karagkouni
Project Manager Social Dynamo, Bodossaki Foundation
Lito Karagkouni is a Psychologist holding a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the Athens University of Economics and Business. She is certified in Project Management as well as in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) by PM4NGOs.
She has 10 years of professional experience in the non-profit sector, in Greece and abroad, with a focus on the empowerment of vulnerable groups (including individuals with addictions, survivors of sexual violence, and refugees), as well as on the implementation of prevention and awareness-raising actions on gender-based violence.
Over the past four years, she has managed more than 100 social impact projects across a range of sectors (health, disability, environment, gender equality) within the framework of grant programmes coordinated by Social Dynamo. She currently coordinates professional support services (mentoring, coaching, consulting), training seminars, and certifications, as part of capacity-building programmes addressed to Civil Society Organisations.
Maria Kontogianni
Assistant Project Manager Social Dynamo, Bodossaki Foundation
Maria Kontogianni works at the Bodossaki Foundation for the management of small-scale but high-impact initiatives implemented by grassroot organizations. For many years, she has supported Social Dynamo’s capacity-building programs, actively contributing to the empowerment of civil society organizations. Her collaboration with the Bodossaki Foundation began in 2019, when she participated as an intern in the Programs Department.
She is a graduate of the Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Ioannina, with a major in Archaeology. As part of her studies, she has participated in programs at domestic and international universities, and has also gained experience through volunteer work at the Ioannina Ephorate of Antiquities.
She holds a project management certification from the international organization PM4NGOs.
Thomais Sarakinioti
Capacity Building & Community Engagement Officer Social Dynamo, Bodossaki Foundation
Thomais Sarakinioti works at the Bodossaki Foundation as a Capacity Building & Community Engagement Officer, supporting Civil Society Organisations through empowerment and networking programmes.
She has worked in the fields of health, social awareness, and humanitarian action with NGOs in Greece and abroad, focusing on programme design and implementation, as well as strategic communication. She has volunteered with Civil Society Organizations, gaining experience in proposal writing, supporting communication initiatives, participating in environmental actions, and working as a Research Analyst on international and European affairs.
She holds a BA in International and European Studies and an MA in Digital Transformation with a specialisation in e-campaigning, both from Panteion University.
