Announcing the results of the Capacity-Building Programme for organizations active in promoting Gender Equality – 2nd Call of Cycle B’

The Bodossaki Foundation and Fondation CHANEL have joined forces once again to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment in Greece, and can now announce the ten organizations selected to participate in Cycle B’ of their joint programme, following the submission of proposals for the 2nd open call.

The selected organisations will participate in a specialized six-month capacity-building programme, which is implemented by Social Dynamo, the Bodossaki Foundation’s NGO Hub, and will subsequently receive a financial grant of €10,000 each for the implementation of small-scale projects that will contribute to their operational development and improvement, as well as to the promotion of gender equality and women’s empowerment in Greece.

The projects to be implemented cover a broad range of thematic areas which respond to contemporary challenges surrounding gender equality. They focus inter alia on preventing and responding to gender-based and domestic violence, empowering women and girls, promoting women’s participation in STEM fields, on providing sex education, and on bolstering the public discourse on gender equality.

  6. Organisation: DYNAME – Aspis Against Violence
    Project: Healthy relationships & empowering girls through education and prevention
  7. Organisation: REVMA– Educational and Vocational Support Mechanism for Young People
    Project: REVMA capacity-building programme
  8. Organisation: Association of Ukrainian Women in Greece
    Project: From vulnerability to autonomy: economic empowerment of migrant women as a way out from violence
  9. Organisation: Institute for the Prevention and Treatment of Violence and the Promotion of Gender Equality – VIA STOP

The 2nd Call concludes the selection of the organizations to be supported under Cycle B’ of the Programme, strengthening more than twenty Civil Society Organizations active in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment in Greece.
