SoSCIety is a civil society organisation that aims to carry out scientific research activities related to environmental issues, such as the climate crisis, plastic pollution, the promotion and preservation of cultural heritage, maritime spatial planning, etc., with the aim of protecting and restoring the natural environment and biodiversity.
At the same time, SoSCIety aims to cultivate a close relationship between environmental science and society. Basic components of our communication strategy are: citizen science, and the development and support of consultation processes between social partners (stakeholders) for their participation in policy making and environmental conservation strategies.
