“FILOSS”‘s goal is to protect all animals as well as the environment in which they live. We focused on the care of the homeless with actions such as sterilization, establishment of a municipal Veterinary Clinic, finding resources for their feeding and healthcare.
We organize informative events for the citizens of the island and especially for the students, with a monthly cycle of presentations entitled: “The unknown world of animals around us”. We raise awareness on the importance of the environment and the impact of ecological disasters on every living existence of our island. We get in touch with other Environmental and Animal Welfare associations, as well as with State and Municipal Authorities exchanging views, developing collaborations to achieve the goals of the “FILOSS” association.
