The “M-power” team is composed by staff members of the GFM together with representatives of migrant communities and second-generation migrants. The team aims to create a space dedicated to capacity building activities, skills and knowledge improvement in order empower them as members of the Greek civil society. The goal of this team is to analyze and improve the design of the Migrant Hub project, a social incubator tailored to the needs and characteristics of migrant and refugee communities. Migrant and refugee communities are associations based on volunteers support which operate as important social mediators for asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in Greece. These communities are often affected by a lack of operational capacity and sustainability.
