The mission of the Union of Ukrainian Women in Greece is to provide targeted support to women and children affected by war and forced displacement, equipping them with practical tools to rebuild their lives.
The organisation facilitates access to legal assistance, psychological support, education, and professional development opportunities, helping women integrate into Greek society, find employment, or pursue their own initiatives.
It also creates safe spaces for trauma recovery, fosters a community of mutual support, and actively promotes women’s rights by combating gender-based violence and discrimination.
At the same time, the organisation works to preserve Ukrainian cultural identity through educational and cultural programmes, while promoting intercultural dialogue.
