Za’atar’s mission is to empower refugees and migrants to build self-sufficient lifestyles by providing constructive spaces for education, employment training, and cultural integration. The Orange House is located in Kipseli area. The upper floor is housing women alone or with children. The ground floor is a day-center for refugees and migrants, men and women. They offer English and Greek classes, vocational trainings and CV workshop. Refugees also get the opportunity to book an appointment to meet with our psychologist and lawyer. They organized training in fishing, tailoring and cooking and they will be offering training in hair dressing. Every Sunday they organize activities in the city so that refugees get to discover Athens, Greek culture, and enjoy getting out of the usual areas where refugees and migrants get services.
