Social and Cultural Affairs Welfare Foundation

The Social and Cultural Affairs Welfare Foundation (KIKPE) was founded in 1988. Culture, education and social welfare are the Foundation’s main areas of engagement, as selected by its founder, while in order to realise its charitable aims the Foundation seeks to develop partnerships which will increase the overall benefit to society. In the areas of culture and education, the Foundation designs its own programmes and undertakes projects and initiatives, making extensive use of the collections and historical archives in its possession, systematically improving public and municipal libraries and organising seminars for secondary school teachers. In the area of social welfare, the Foundation focuses on public health and offers financial support to organisations which support vulnerable social groups.
