The organization “Αφηγήματα Αστική Εταιρεία Μη Κερδοσκοπικού Χαρακτήρα Αδράχτι” was founded in 2015 and is based in Ioannina. It began from the passion of its members for Folklore Tales and the Art of Storytelling. From its inception until today, it has conducted numerous thematic storytelling sessions for children and students, as well as experiential workshops for college students and educators. The primary goal of the organization is to preserve and promote Folklore Tales and the art of storytelling, so that they can be highlighted and reintegrated into modern life. The art of storytelling can be a significant tool for social intervention, education, awareness, information, and citizen mobilization, and it can find applications in the implementation of educational, therapeutic, and research programs.
