The acceleration in sea-level rise in recent years is a serious effect of climate change that we are being called upon to face. The Society for the Study of Ancient Coastlines – AKTES focuses on the interdisciplinary research of sea-level changes and their impact on the coastal landscape, reconstructing the dialectic on history and geography of the coastlines.
