Communications Director, Athens Partnership
Alexandros Kandarakis specializes in communications, with years of experience also in fundraising and project management in the non-governmental, as well as the private sector. He studied Economics with Economic History at the London School of Economics, and holds a graduate degree in Development Studies at Cambridge University. He worked as an economist at the Bank of England, and after his return to Greece, at Amnesty International and WWF Greece, in fundraising, project management and communications. He has extensive experience in staff selection, group motivation and organizational psychology. Today, he is Director of Communication at the Athens Partnership, the independent organization that builds public-private philanthropic programs to address urban challenges.
