Evi Vagena Paleologou

Mrs. Evi Vagena Paleologou is an honorary judge.

In recent years as Chairman of the BoD of a child protection foundation she has managed all institutional issues and functions related to the provision of non- profit social care services. At the same time, she deals with human services issues, whether they concern the evaluation and training of staff or volunteers. In addition she is involved, together with member of the Board, in the management and development of the real estate of the foundation. Issues of child care, as well as supervision of adoption and foster care procedures are of paramount importance for her. In addition, the development of synergies with organizations of the same purpose falls within the scope of its involvement.

She holds a Ph.D in criminology and a MSc in the “International Medicine –Health Crisis Management” from the Athens University –Medical School.

She has also completed the post-graduate program  “Etudes Superieures des Communautes Europeennes” from the Universite de Nice-France and the Post-graduate program “Global justice Education Consortium” from the American University, Washington D.C as well.

Finally, she is a member and chairman of the BoD of the Greek section of the European scientific organization MEDEL [Magistrasts Europeens pour la Democratie et les Libertes]. She participated and represented the country for 20 years, in the annual scientific meetings of the Member States of the organization.
