George Vlachos

George Vlachos graduated the School of Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (MArch, 1976).  He worked as an Architect up to 1991, mainly as designer, supervisor, contractor and developer of private projects (residential and commercial buildings). By 1992 he joint LAFARGE Group, holding executive managerial positions at affiliated companies in Greece, at the sector of Ready Mixed Concrete and Aggregates Quarries, CEO of HELLAMAT ABEME. On 2001 he moved at AGET HERACLES Group of Companies, (following its acquisition by LAFARGE Group), holding consequently the positions of General Manager Organization Development, GM Human Resources, GM Communication & Public Affairs. By 2010 up today he partners with Greek and International companies with expertize in Business Development, Strategy & Implementation. He was honored to serve as Vice President of the Hellenic National Centre of Instant Aid (EKAB), Secretary General of the Hellenic Association of Ready Mixed Concrete Industries (ΣΕΒΕΣ) and member of BoD of the Macedonian Museum of Modern Art (ΜΜΣΤ). He is member of BoD of the Hellenic Centre of Volunteers Managers (ΚΕΜΕΛ), Aegean Perlites SA and BeyondCSR.
