The Captain Vassilis & Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation is a private non-profit foundation, founded in Messinia in 2011 in honour of Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos. Its purpose is to showcase the region as a model of sustainable development and also to support social projects throughout Greece.
It is active in a wide range of sectors related to rural development, society, culture and the environment, developing relationships with institutions and agencies in these sectors. The Foundation plans and manages a series of projects, while it also finances programmes of other bodies and organisations related to its aims and object.
