Βιογραφικό
Rania El Ampasy is a Senior Project Manager at KMOP – Social Action and Innovation Centre, where she coordinates the Civic Engagement & Governance Unit and manages European projects in the fields of active citizenship, social inclusion, civic participation, sustainability and civil society empowerment.
She has extensive experience in the design, management and evaluation of programmes in the non-profit sector, having worked with international NGOs, foundations, environmental organisations, as well as in the fields of international cooperation and diplomacy. She has served as Head of EU Programmes at the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (HELMEPA) and the Lambrakis Foundation, with experience in areas including active citizenship, gender equality, sustainability, ESG, circular economy, employability and soft skills development.
Her connection with Social Dynamo began through her role as Project Manager at the Bodossaki Foundation, where she developed and managed the Social Dynamo hub, with the aim of empowering Civil Society Organisations through training, mentoring, consulting and coaching. She has also served as an evaluator of proposals under various funding programmes. Today, she returns to Social Dynamo with a strong interest in supporting organisations in turning their ideas into realistic and sustainable action plans.
She began her professional career at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the field of international cooperation, and subsequently worked at Amnesty International, where she was initially responsible for the organisation’s fundraising programme and later for its Human Rights Education programme.
Rania holds a degree in Communication and Media Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master’s degree in Humanitarian Aid Management and NGO Development from Université Paris-Est Créteil, as a Lilian Voudouri Foundation scholar. She speaks English, French and Arabic.
